Factors Influencing Inappropriate Antibiotic Usage Among Patients of Multan Periphery

Objective: To determine the factors that contribute to inappropriate utilization of antibiotics and their knowledge antimicrobial resistance (AMR). Materials methods: A total 280 people who had history use within last 30 days were included. questionnaire was build collect information from respondents (including two separate parts). The first part including age, gender socioeconomic status residential area. also included diagnose either appropriate or in-appropriate. 2nd regarding peron’s AMR. Results: Among patients, only 104 (37.1%) patients remaining 176 (62.9%) anti-biotics. age ≤40 years higher percentage use; 90 (86.5%) versus 123 (69.9%) using (p-value 0.000).
